Infectious war

From microbes to insects to us humans. War for survival is a constant in this Universe. Where there is life there is war. It doesn’t mean it should be like that for us though. Unlike ants or microbes we can make peace and collaborate. We could stop hunger, war, disease.. and many more but we simply decide not to. Our hatred for the different leads us to a path of destruction. A path which we will never recover from if we continue. For we are humans, for we are war incarnate. We can stop but we don’t want to. We will bleed and be torn apart, and still wage war. Wage war and more war and more and more until nothing is left for us. We don’t need war anymore to survive but we need blood, we need death, we are obsessed with it. Maybe someday we’ll find peace however it may be, hopefully it won’t be through annihilation.
