Door to hell

If the path to hell is paved with good intentions then what paves the way of heaven? Is it goodness? Evil? Both?

If the path to paradise is also built with the desire to do good then we can only conclude that goodness is what motivates us, what drives us forward and creates the trail we follow. Yet that’s not always the case. The truth is both bad intentions and good intentions make the downward stairway to the fire and brimstone, but sufficiently flawed goodwill is indistinguishable from evil. Just like sufficiently advanced ignorance is impossible to discern from malice.

Hell and heaven go hand in hand, both two sides united by a common denominator. Regardless of expectations, they will act the same way, over and over again.
